PENN Entertainment in Biloxi, MS is seeking a Security Manager to supervise staff on a designated shift and oversee daily operations within the Security department. You will drive guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, enforcing internal controls, and preparing incident reports. You will work with local authorities when needed and model professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; or three years of casino security, military, or police experience.

  • Maintain safety and inspection reports for the property; conduct post inspections.
  • Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.
  • Respond to guest and employee concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure officers adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, fire/rescue and law enforcement agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report issues to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental matters.

  • Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Security department. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • May be responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Serves as the Security Manager on duty in the absence of the Security Shift Manager
  • Enforce internal control policies and procedures including but not limited too; underage gambling and drinking laws
  • Maintain safety and inspections reports for the property
  • Conduct regular security post inspections
  • Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.
  • Respond to guests and employees concerns and complaints and solve their problems with professionalism and compassion.
  • Ensure security officers adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with department and company standards.
  • Interact and cooperate with regulatory, fire/rescue and law enforcement agencies.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
