Job summary

JRC is seeking a Security Assistant/Analyst to support Navy PMO activities in Titusville, FL. You will manage classified documents, process visits and badges, and ensure security programs across personnel, physical, information, and industrial domains.

You will liaise with SPF leadership, support admin tasks, and travel as needed to maintain secure operations within SPF units and DoD guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administrative and security experience.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
  • Knowledge of Communications Security (COMSEC).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with department heads and leaders.
  • Ability to use databases/spreadsheets to organize and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with DoD security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure classified documents are received, marked, and stored per DoD regulations.
  • Prepare and package classified materials for shipping.
  • Create and process visit requests in DISS or current program.
  • Process badge requests and manage access to SPF spaces.
  • Provide liaison support for SPF Detachments and Command.
  • Conduct security briefings for personnel and manage inventories/destruction.

We are actively searching for a talented Security Assistant/Analyst to assist the Navy's Program Management Office (PMO) office, with guidance from the Command Security Manager in Titusville, FL in the areas of security program management (personnel, physical, information, and industrial) program execution, and administrative functions within the SPF10 Operations and Administration Division.

What You'll Do

As the Security Assistant/Analyst, you will...

  • Ensure classified documents are properly received, marked, and stored in accordance with Navy and Department of Defense regulations
  • Prepare and package classified material for shipping and mailing
  • Create out-going visit requests within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or current program
  • Process in-coming visit requests and confirm clearance and access level for visitors to SPS within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or current program
  • Process badge requests for new employees and visitors
  • Provide access for employees, visitors, contractors, etc. within SPF spaces
  • Conduct briefings to newly appointed or transferred/terminated personnel and to those requiring foreign travel briefings
  • Conduct inventories and destruction
  • Ensure effective personnel, physical, industrial, and information security programs are established and maintained
  • Provide liaison support for SPF Detachments and SPF Command
  • Assist with other administrative support efforts as required by the technical director/manager
  • Travel on an as-needed basis
What You Bring to the Table
  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative and security experience
  • Clearance: Must have and maintain an active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
  • Knowledge of Communications Security (COMSEC)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with department heads, technical managers and senior leadership
  • Utilize automated computer systems and software, such as a spreadsheet/database program, to create, update, revise, sort, reformat, and/or manipulate data
  • Familiar with DoD/DON security policies and procedures
  • Skill to apply fact finding and investigative techniques to measure and improve program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment with little direction, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
