Guidehouse is seeking a Security Assistance Data Analyst to serve as the principal analyst and integrator for the Department of State's Political‑Military Affairs Bureau. You will lead data management, visualization, and reporting for Security Assistance accounts, coordinating with interagency partners to strengthen program execution.

You will develop executive‑level data products and dashboards, leveraging Power BI, Excel, and SQL, while driving automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Active and maintained SECRET clearance
• Five+ years of experience in data analytics, visualization, or program evaluation
• Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, data science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in Security Assistance or Security Cooperation program analysis (FMF, IMET, PKO/NSEA)
• Strong communication skills; ability to draft executive‑level data products and dashboards

Job Family:Data Science ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do:The Security Assistance Data Analyst serves as the principal analyst and integrator for the Department of State (DoS) Political‑Military Affairs Bureau. In this role, you will lead data management, visualization, and reporting efforts related to Security Assistance accounts and interagency coordination. Your work will help drive informed decision‑making and strengthen program execution.What You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analytics, visualization, or program evaluation, preferably with federal agencies.Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, data science, political science, or a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.Demonstrated experience in Security Assistance or Security Cooperation program analysis, including familiarity with FMF, IMET, PKO/NSEA, and related budget accounts.Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other data analysis or visualization platforms.Demonstrated strong background in data transformation, automation, and process optimization for reporting and program management.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills with experience drafting executive-level data products and dashboards.What Would Be Nice To Have:Professional certifications in data analytics, visualization, or process improvement (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management Professional) strongly desired.Formal coursework or training in Security Cooperation (e.g., Defense Security Cooperation University) preferred.The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
