Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Lynnwood, WA. This flexible, dependable role is designed for individuals looking to supplement income, gain hands-on experience, or pursue a full-time career with the industry leader.

You will carry out armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents per site protocols, while enjoying fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations or concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Permit in Lynnwood, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
