Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Protective Patrol in Everett, WA. This role provides reliable, fixed shifts with optional additional shifts via a scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Protective Patrol in Everett, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

DayTimeTue08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of visitor and employee activity.


• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.


• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.


• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.


• CPR Certification is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
