Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.

• Armed guard card or license is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, professionally, following protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Maintain activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
