Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a security architecture professional to validate deployed controls, bridge vulnerability management, threat hunting, and cybersecurity engineering, and to translate findings into architecture-level risk themes.

You will monitor the external perimeter, review firewall rules, and partner with IT and business owners to revalidate access, prioritize remediation, and support detection engineering and incident response.

Qualifications

• Progressive cybersecurity experience spanning network security, security engineering, or purple/red-team functions.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and administering firewall rule sets.
• Experience with vulnerability management and attack-surface monitoring tooling.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary-emulation methodologies.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, OSCP, CEH) are a plus.
• Familiarity with CTEM or attack-surface-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Validates detection and control effectiveness against current adversary TTPs.
• Monitors enterprise topology, cloud environments, and interdependencies.
• Reviews firewall rules and access paths to ensure business justification.
• Prioritizes remediation and communicates risk themes to leadership.
• Collaborates with vulnerability/patch teams on hygiene gaps.
• Supports incident response with architecture context.
