Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an experienced Security Architect (AD/Entra ID) to lead IAM initiatives, design and secure identity solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will leverage expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and AD to build scalable authentication and access architectures.

The role emphasizes governance, policy development, and collaboration with global teams, with remote-work flexibility and opportunities to influence security posture across major clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT security and IT architecture.
• 7+ years in Active Directory design and infrastructure.
• 3+ years in Azure Active Directory design.
• 5+ years IAM processes and technologies.
• Proven IAM design and implementation experience in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and development of AD & Azure AD requirements and roadmaps.
• Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
• Improve IAM security architecture with emerging technologies and practices.
• Provide technical guidance to global project and operations teams.
• Translate requirements into architectural designs for infrastructure deployment.
• Maintain understanding of Entra ID and related core technologies.
• Analyze and optimize Azure AD environment for improvements.
• Maintain on-prem AD infrastructure (DNS, GPOs, domain controllers).
• Lead complex troubleshooting with other teams.
• Ensure resolution of security issues and incidents; escalate when needed.
• Implement MFA across users and devices; enforce best practices.
• Develop and manage Graph API integrations for automation.
