Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead identity and access management initiatives focused on Active Directory and Entra ID. The role emphasizes design, implementation, and security of identity solutions across hybrid environments.

The candidate should bring deep expertise in Entra ID, AD, IAM governance, and automation using Graph API and PowerShell, with a strong focus on security best practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant working experience in IT Security and IT Architecture.
• 7+ years of experience with Active Directory architecture and infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory architecture and design.
• 5+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and technologies.
• Expertise in managing Azure AD/Entra, including Conditional Access, MFA, hybrid environments, and Azure AD Connect.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, on-prem AD, and related core technologies.
• PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, design, and development of Active Directory & Azure Active Directory technical requirements, solutions, and implementation roadmap.
• Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Ensure continuous improvement within the IAM security architecture by adopting emerging technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and risk analysis to global project and operational teams.
• Translate requirements into architectural designs and influence infrastructure deployment.
• Maintain expertise in Entra ID and Active Directory, including hybrid environments and migrations.
• Analyze current AD/AAD environments and propose improvements.
• Implement MFA and security best practices across users and devices.
• Develop integrations using Microsoft Graph API for automation and custom apps.
• Create PowerShell scripts for provisioning and configurations across Entra ID and AD.
