Security and Fraud Specialist

Spot the signals. Connect the facts. Help protect our customers and our Bank.

Do you ask questions until the details make sense? Put your branch banking experience and inquisitive mind to work at ACNB Bank, protecting us and our customers from loss. As our Security and Fraud Specialist, you’ll spend the first half of your day reviewing alerts, asking questions, and connecting the facts—the first step in loss prevention. You’ll also support physical branch security.

What You’ll Accomplish / Responsibilities

  • Turn questions into loss-prevention action.
Spend the first half of your day reviewing fraud alerts, transactions, reports, and logs. Ask probing questions, use your branch banking knowledge to identify concerns, document findings, and elevate complex cases and potential Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) matters to the appropriate team members.

  • Move suspicious activity concerns toward resolution.
Draw on your experience with recognizing suspicious behavior and customer outreach to gather relevant information and support investigations and follow‑up. Manage the Suspicious Activity Form mailbox, route submissions appropriately, and keep tracking records documentation accurate.

  • Help keep branch locations physically secure.
Support security needs involving vaults, locks, surveillance, and keypad entry systems. Review daily alarm activity, complete monthly camera reviews, check quarterly branch security documentation, coordinate vendor maintenance, and document issues and service activities.

  • Make records and communication dependable.
Provide clear reports, maintain records that meet Bank and regulatory standards, retrieve requested surveillance footage, and coordinate with colleagues so relevant information reaches the right people.

What You Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma and Banking experience are required.

  • Front-end branch banking experience, conducting customer outreach, and handling branch security procedures are desired. Several years as a head teller or teller supervisor can provide the practical foundation for this role.

  • Bring at least two years of relevant banking experience and examples of how you’ve asked questions, investigated unusual activity, communicated findings, and maintained accurate records.

  • Working knowledge of banking operations and regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency will help you deliver results.

  • A related degree or specialized training or certification is preferred.

Why You’ll Love this Role

  • Put your curiosity to meaningful work. Ask questions, connect the facts, and turn alert reviews into action that helps protect customers and the Bank from loss.

  • Build on the branch experience you already bring. Apply your knowledge of customer outreach, suspicious activity reporting, and branch security in a role focused on fraud prevention and physical security.

  • Enjoy a mix of investigative and practical work. Combine fraud alert analysis and follow‑up with hands‑on coordination of branch security needs involving vaults, locks, surveillance, and keypad entry systems.

  • Work for a top performing bank as recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal, Forbes, and S&P Global Market.

  • Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits Package: This is an hourly (non‑exempt) position and pays a market‑competitive rate. ACNB also provides health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, generous paid time off and 12 paid holidays, career growth and training opportunities – all within a supportive, team environment.
