Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Data Scientist to advance the Secure the Enterprise initiative, shifting from manual security evaluation to a model emphasizing automation, continuous monitoring, and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include developing ML/analytic algorithms, building ETL pipelines, and deploying prototypes into production to support analyst workflows and automated assessments.

Qualifications

• Background in statistical analysis
• Experience with building, tuning, and testing predictive models
• Experience creating analytic charts and dashboards

Responsibilities

• Leverage Python as a primary language to process data to determine if resources and systems are secure
• Look for outliers to track the progress of systems through the Risk Management Framework lifecycle
• Identify System a Resource belongs to by attributes of the identified resource against known systems
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract security and compliance data from multiple sources, transform the data for analysis and reporting, and load it into target data repositories to support continuous monitoring and automated assessments
• Support data engineering operations including data quality validation, pipeline monitoring, and optimization of data workflows for timely delivery of security-related data
