Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Software Engineer I to support the Secure the Enterprise initiative, moving from manual security evaluation to automated, continuous monitoring, and data collection across the project lifecycle.

You will develop Pig and PySpark analytics, review data ingest tickets, and collaborate on merge requests to ensure reliable data delivery to end users and smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of professional experience, or 11+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong analytics development background and ability to work with Pig and PySpark.
• Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala; familiarity with NiFi and Ansible; experience in Agile environments.
