Job summary

Michigan State University College of Engineering seeks a Security Analyst II to support the governance, risk, and compliance program. Reporting to the GRC Manager, you will assist with security assessments, document security controls, and help advance enterprise security operations.

This hybrid role requires at least two days on campus and offers a comprehensive benefits package. You will guide campus units on cybersecurity best practices and ensure consistent application of MSU security

Qualifications

• Knowledge of risk management and cyber threats.
• Knowledge of host/network access control mechanisms.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies.
• Ability to determine security system resilience and how changes affect outcomes.
• Understanding of CIA triad protection needs.
• Ability to interface with customers.
• Certifications in information assurance or risk management are a plus.

Responsibilities
