Position: Security Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, Florida - Remote within the State of Florida

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage security across multiple IT functional areas (e.g., data, systems, network, Web) throughout the enterprise.
2. Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures, including user log-on/authentication rules, breach escalation, auditing, firewalls, and encryption routines.
3. Prepare security status reports, develop risk analysis scenarios, and response procedures.
4. Track and monitor software viruses.
5. Enforce security policies by administering security profiles, reviewing violation reports, investigating security exceptions, and maintaining security controls documentation.

Experience Required

A minimum of 7 years of combined IT and security experience, including exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design, and administration. Additionally, 1-2 years of specific information security experience, with knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all computer platforms.
