Job summary

Crewforce is hiring an Access Control Installer / Security Technician in the New York area. The role requires 3+ years of experience with access control devices, CCTV and security systems in a commercial setting.

Expect hands-on installation, wiring and programming of end devices and security infrastructure. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with weekly pay and opportunities to enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting and/or programming security devices in a commercial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of test equipment used in security installations.
• Certifications/experience with major security brands is a plus (Bosch, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Hirsch, GE, Pelco, etc.).

• Installation of low voltage wire for security devices.

Access Control Installer / Security Technician - $20-$35/hr – DOE

We are currently hiring Security Technicians / Access Control Installer with 3+ years of experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting and/or programming security devices in a commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Long Island Area.

Job:

• Installing, terminating, and/or programming end devices for access control, CCTV, intrusion/burglar alarm and security infrastructure in a commercial environment
• Installation of low voltage wire for security devices
• Terminating and installing end devices such as card/badge readers, motion detectors, door strikes, mag locks, cameras, key pads, door contacts, etc.

Qualifications:

• Recent experience performing access control / security installations in a commercial setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices
• Certifications and/or experience with Bosch, Honeywell, DMP, Honeywell, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Software House, Hirsch, GE, Sony, Pelco, etc. is a plus

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay $20 -$35/hr or depending on experience
