Job summary

Crewforce is hiring an Access Control Security Technician with 3+ years of experience in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and/or programming security devices in a commercial environment. Immediate need in the Westchester Area; competitive pay and weekly payroll are offered.

Responsibilities include installing, terminating, and programming access control and related security infrastructure, laying low voltage wiring, and installing end devices such as readers, detectors, and cameras.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting and/or programming security devices in a commercial environment.
• Experience with access control systems and security devices in commercial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.

• Install, terminate, and/or program end devices for access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms in a commercial environment.
• Install low voltage wiring for security devices.
• Terminate and install devices such as card readers, motion detectors, door strikes, mag locks, cameras, key pads, door contacts.

Job description

Access Control Security Technician - $20-$35/hr – DOE

We are currently hiring Security Technicians / Access Control Installer with 3+ years of experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting and/or programming security devices in a commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Westchester Area.

Job:

• Installing, terminating, and/or programming end devices for access control, CCTV, intrusion/burglar alarm and security infrastructure in a commercial environment
• Installation of low voltage wire for security devices
• Terminating and installing end devices such as card/badge readers, motion detectors, door strikes, mag locks, cameras, key pads, door contacts, etc.

Qualifications:

• Recent experience performing access control / security installations in a commercial setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices
• Certifications and/or experience with Bosch, Honeywell, DMP, Honeywell, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Software House, Hirsch, GE, Sony, Pelco, etc. is a plus

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay $20 -$35/hr or depending on experience
