Job summary

Seaside Inn Resort in Myrtle Beach is hiring a Security Agent for a full-time overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The role focuses on keeping guests, owners, and staff safe by identifying incidents, reporting them, and coordinating with departments to resolve safety issues.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to make independent decisions, and possess strong communication skills. CPR/First Aid lower priority is preferred, and a valid SC driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• CPR or First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk 8 hours.
• Must have a Valid SC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards.
• Call for assistance when needed (police, EMS, fire department, etc.).
• Completes incident reports to document all Loss Prevention related incidents.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; releases information only to authorized individuals.
• Performs periodic and random inspections of the building and grounds protecting property from theft, embezzlement, vandalism, fire, and accidents. Good understanding of emergency systems and alarm systems.
• Maintains inspection reports and records, advises management of deficiencies.
• Provides outstanding guest/owner service at all times including answering general inquiries, providing directions, delivering packages/amenities.
• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the resort to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
• Other requests of management to help co-workers with their job duties.

We are seeking aprofessional, proactive individual that is self-motivated and confident inmaking independent decisions and assisting in ensuring the safety of allguests, owners and team members.The security agent will identifyand report incidents on and around the property.
