Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Security Advisor to support the Global Security Team in mitigating risk across facilities and operations in New York. The role partners with site leadership to implement security programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure consistent standards across facilities.

You will supervise contracted security officers, manage vendor relationships, and lead security training, incident reporting, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in security or related field.
• CPP or PSP certification preferred.
• Experience supervising contracted guard forces in supply chain or distribution environments.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Security Risk Management practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and audit contracted security officers and security guard vendors.
• Develop and implement security officer procedures.
• Manage training for contracted security teams.
• Enforce entry/exit and gate control procedures.
• Report monthly security metrics and incidents.
• Ensure site security plans and policies are followed.
• Coordinate with management on security plans and risk mitigation.
• Monitor security systems health checks (FAST, Lenel, Milestone, Avigilon).
• Lead site Security Committee and security meetings.
