General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Administration/Visitor Control professional to manage entry control and security duties. The role supports personnel and information security under the Chief of Security and ensures visitors are greeted professionally and assisted as needed.

The position emphasizes verifying identities, logging visitors, badge issuance, and safeguarding against prohibited items, with emphasis on incident response and security administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in special program security preferred, but entry-level training available.
• Valid CAG certification desirable (CDSE).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of all visitors and ensure sponsorship and clearance via JPAS/local database.
• Log visitors, issue badges, and notify hosts of arrivals.
• Inspect bags and hand-carried items for prohibited items.
• Receive and distribute packages per procedures.
• Ensure access badges are displayed and valid for personnel.
• Assist with emergency procedures (bomb threat, active shooter, etc.).
• Maintain logs, instructions, equipment, and badges daily.
• Support personnel, information, and program security functions.
