Job summary

Horizon Health Services in Getzville, NY is seeking a Help Desk Security Admin to monitor security tools, manage SIEM, and respond to incidents. You will administer Active Directory and clinical applications, support IT operations, and participate in 24x7 rotations. The role starts at $20.00–$23.28 per hour with growth based on performance.

The position offers a structured onboarding, on-site work at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville, with potential 4-day weeks after training and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, IT or related degree required.
• You must have one of the following: Relevant Certification OR One Year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work within a team.
• Has a valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel to different Horizon locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security tools, events, and data across the organization’s infrastructure.
• Review network traffic, security logs, and user activity to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal security policies.
• Maintain and operate the SIEM system, alerts and notifications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on software, hardware, and networks.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures.
• Test systems for compliance with established security policies and procedures.
• Participate in Help Desk operations and serve as an escalation point for IT service requests.
