Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Port Lavaca, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The role is full-time with night shifts, requiring TSA credentials, background checks, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. A driver’s license is needed for driving posts where required.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and drive when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and access controls.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and directing personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and document findings in logs.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and access-control records per policy.
