Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Security Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. The role focuses on badge lifecycle management, facility access control, and security data integrity.

You will handle fingerprinting, citizenship verifications, and inquiries while supporting Corporate Security with administrative tasks. A Secret clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in security related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Applications.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions to meet deadlines.
• Experience in Personnel Security (PERSEC) or a comparable administrative role with a strong focus on compliance.
• Skilled in using security systems, including DISS.
• Ability to conduct thorough and precise weekly audits, analyzing data and running queries to identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of badge requests from intake to processing and fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate and secure facility access records in the access control system.
• Develop and manage badge templates to ensure brand and security protocol adherence.
• Oversee in-person badge scheduling and onsite printing.
• Conduct routine database maintenance and security audits to ensure system integrity and policy compliance.
• Perform fingerprinting and citizenship verifications.
• Manage security mailbox and provide administrative support to Corporate Security.
