Job summary

Tria Federal is seeking a Power BI Mid-Level Subject Matter Expert to support DHS A&A activities and security assessment work at the USSS IT systems. The role requires onsite presence at the customer HQ in Washington, DC 1-2 times per week, with collaboration across security teams and system owners.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in cybersecurity, DHS A&A experience, a DHS Public Trust clearance, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with DHS A&A processes and security assessments.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF and security control implementation.
• Ability to synthesize complex IT system information and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience coordinating with system owners and risk officers during authorization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent tests and evaluations of security controls.
• Review security plans and related documentation.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and identify weaknesses and deviations.
• Author SARs with risk findings and ATO deliverables.
• Manage POA&M activities and coordinate with stakeholders during authorization.
