Securitas USA is hiring for a Security position in Portales, NM. This full-time role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned sites.

The position offers an hourly wage of $17.65, scheduled Mon–Fri 0800–1630, with comprehensive benefits and training provided. Candidates must meet basic qualifications and participate in pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Must have attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment.
• Pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and guests.

Primary Location: Portales, NM

Wage: $17.65/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 0800 - 1630 HRS

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:
