Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring access points.
• Inspect buildings, equipment and access points; permit entry as needed.
• Complete daily activity logs and report irregularities and incidents.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches verbally and in writing.
• Maintain continuity by documenting actions and ongoing needs.
• Patrol on foot and monitor security systems and alarms.
• Greet visitors and direct them by sharing directories and instructions.
• Maintain visitor badges and follow procedures for security.

Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company located in Allentown. They are seeking reliable individuals to join their team! Currently they are hiring for full time security positions on 1st shift

Available Schedules

• Monday-Friday8:30am-4:00pm with possible OT before or after your shift and on weekends. Must have reliable transportation, as this position requires opening and closing two different company facilities in Allentown each shift.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry
• Provide help with alarms, prevent diversion of material, detect unauthorized entry or individuals, detect emergencies, prevent loss and or infractions of rules
• Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities by recording patrols, observations, information, occurrences, events and surveillance activities in the Daily Log
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Patrol on foot buildings and perimeters randomly and regularly
• Monitor closed circuit security systems and alarms
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
• Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges

Qualifications

• Prior security experience is required
• Ability to read and understand Security SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical activities include, but are not limited to, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing and/or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions
