Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid to senior-level corporate associate to join its capital markets group in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on public company reporting, corporate governance, and capital markets, working closely with issuers, underwriters, and financial intermediaries.

The candidate should have extensive experience in public company SEC reporting and governance, with strong writing, research, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public company and capital markets.
• Experience with public companies and their ongoing periodic reporting.
• Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Experience with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance requirements.
• Admitted to practice in the state of office location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing support and addressing concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other lawyers and business professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Engage in firm programs, civic and professional organizations, and pro bono work.
