Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is looking for an associate to join their Securities and Capital Markets Group in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will engage in business development and client-facing activities while supporting career development and providing excellent client service.

This position requires 3-6 years of experience in corporate law, specifically in securities and capital markets, with responsibilities including collaboration with shareholders, handling complex transactions, and ensuring SEC compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at an AM Law 100 firm.
• Experience with debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, District of Columbia, or Florida.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shareholders on diverse legal matters.
• Participate in business development and client interactions.
• Handle debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance.

Skills

Strong transactional skills
