Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Washington, DC is seeking an associate to join its securities group. You will work on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and capital markets matters for a range of clients.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of experience, admission to the DC or NY Bar, and strong writing and analytical abilities. Compensation includes base pay plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

You have at least 3 but no more than 5 years of meaningful experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, capital markets, or Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) while working at a midsize or large law firm. With strong academic credentials and writing, analytical, and communication skills, you approach your work with a productive and positive attitude. You are admitted to practice and in good standing with either the DC or New York Bar.

• At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• The salary/wage for this role is $230,000 - $270,000 annually.
