Job summary

DCCA, a veteran-owned IT firm, seeks engineers to support system engineering architecture, requirements analysis, and design delivery for DoD-aligned systems in Maryland. You will translate user needs into system requirements and guide implementation with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing documentation, guiding multi‑discipline teams, performing trade studies, and ensuring verification and validation per DoDAF.

Qualifications

• Associate Engineer CT7: entry-level to experienced learner; advanced degree with 0 years or bachelor's with 0–2+ years.
• Engineer 1 CT8: typically with advanced degree and 3+ years or bachelor's with 5+ years.
• Senior Engineer CT9: emerging authority with advanced degree and 7+ years or bachelor’s with 9+ years.
• Principal Engineer CT10: expert, advanced degree with 12+ years or bachelor’s with 14+ years.
• Engineer Consultant CT11: senior consultant to top management with 18+ years or bachelor’s with 20+ years.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of system engineering architecture and design.
• Develops technical documentation, system architecture and design documentation.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure DoDAF-compatible delivery.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from reviews and cross-discipline meetings.
• Provide leadership for integration of requirements, design and technology.
• Prepare and present to peers, management and customers.
