Job summary

HighPoint in Washington, DC is seeking a Software Developer to help government agencies and partners implement strategic initiatives. You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain software platforms and applications, collaborating across teams to deliver robust, secure solutions in a high-availability environment.

This role requires a bachelor’s in CS or IT, at least two years of experience, and a current Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Resolves problems with software.
• Responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• End-to-end development of business processes using Blue Prism or similar RPA software with ability to develop on Windows, mainframe, web-based browsers, etc.
• Automation platform components, development tools, and systems integrations, to meet business requirements for security, scalability, and performance
• Providing technical direction on design considerations
• Writing API's for integration
• Analyzing solution performance, utilization and trends to identify areas for improvement
• Python programming
• Web application development
• MS SQL

Responsibilities

• Experience in complex, highly integrated, and high availability technology environments.
• Experience with development of multi-tier web-based applications, portals, content management systems and web services integration.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with team as required.
• Ability to problem solve and have a detailed understanding of coding.
• Experience developing secure software systems based upon industry specifications.
