Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a Software Developer to support NGA and SWAP tool development, ensuring secure coding practices and integration with automated testing. The role requires active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and IAT Lvl 2 certification, with responsibilities spanning design, development, and security assessment.

Eligible candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in Java/C++ and security tooling, working on critical defense projects at an on-site Springfield, VA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with secure software development.
• Knowledge of security testing tools and processes.
• Ability to write secure code in Java/C++.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain development environment for SWAP-like projects.
• Design and maintain databases for development tasks.
• Develop secure software and perform security testing.
• Conduct code reviews and apply secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security within SDLC.
