DC Army National Guard seeks a Radio and Communications Security Repairer to maintain and secure communications for units. You will install, repair, calibrate, and align equipment, and perform maintenance on systems to ensure reliable secure channels.

Advanced positions may involve training and supervising soldiers, testing complex equipment, and ensuring NSA-approved components are used in repairs. Expect pay and benefits aligned with National Guard programs.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment is required.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a diploma/GED.
• Age between 17 and 35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Install and repair circuits and wiring, calibrate and align components.
• String overhead cables between utility poles and perform preventive maintenance.
