Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Interface Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure integrations between IAM platforms and external systems in a federal environment. You will work at the intersection of API engineering, identity security, and observability to ensure reliable data flow across identity verification, IT service management, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities include integrating with ID.me using OIDC/OAuth2/SAML, ServiceNow REST/Flow Designer, and ELK Stack, plus

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or a High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience.
• 5 years in integration engineering, API development, or middleware development.
• 2+ years of direct experience integrating IAM or identity platforms (e.g., ID.me, Okta, ForgeRock).
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer).
• Experience with ELK Stack: Logstash pipelines, Elasticsearch querying, Kibana dashboards/alerts.
• Experience in REST APIs, JSON/XML, HTTP, webhooks, API gateways, Postman.
• Experience in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Shell/PowerShell.
• iPaaS tools proficiency.
• Networking/Security experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure integrations with ID.me for identity verification using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Configure and manage ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log ingestion, monitoring, and alerting.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware for cross‑platform data exchange.
• Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic (JSON/XML) across systems.
• Manage integrations using iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
• Ensure secure data transmission using TLS/mTLS and compliance with federal standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA).
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, API, and data flow issues across systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate in agile teams supporting development, testing, and deployment activities.
