Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Interface Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure integrations between IAM platforms and external systems in a federal environment. You will work on API engineering, identity security, and observability to ensure reliable data flow across identity verification, IT service management, and monitoring platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in integration engineering, API development, or middleware development.
• Hands-on experience integrating IAM or identity platforms.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer).
• Experience with ELK Stack for logging and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure integrations with ID.me for identity verification using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
• Configure and manage ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log ingestion, monitoring, and alerting
• Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware for cross-platform data exchange
• Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic (JSON/XML) across systems
• Manage integrations using iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato)
• Ensure secure data transmission using TLS/mTLS and compliance with federal standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, API, and data flow issues across systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
• Collaborate in agile teams supporting development, testing, and deployment activities
