Amentum is seeking a full-time Custodian at Fort Gordon, Georgia to maintain a clean, safe environment across assigned facilities in a highly secure government setting.

The role covers routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, surfaces, and trash disposal, with duties aligned to daily task sheets and facility checklists. Candidates must be US Citizens with the ability to obtain a government clearance and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain government clearance at time of application.
• Standing, walking, and moving for the full shift.
• Physically able to lift and carry standard facilities equipment and full trash bins.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean all bathroom and kitchenette spaces daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, and polish floors in assigned areas according to the weekly plan.
• Clean and vacuum under desks, hallways, conference rooms, and open workspaces multiple times per week or upon request.
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet high and dust all other surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash 2-3 times daily; replenish restroom supplies.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across assigned areas.
• Adhere to daily task sheets and facility checklists.
