Job summary

General Dynamics - IT supports USSTRATCOM missions through secure data engineering and platform management at Offutt AFB, NE. You will lead data pipelines and secure architectures, embedding security from inception to delivery while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align with AFNWC/J6 objectives.

Requires a BS degree, 5+ years in data engineering, ITIL v5, and DoD 8140 within 9 months, plus a current Top Secret clearance with CI Poly/TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS degree; additional experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, or data platform management.
• Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations v5 Certificate and DoD 8140 Certification within 9 Months
• Security Clearance Level: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with CI Poly and TS/SCI status
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of security practices into all phases of application deployment.
• Design and implement secure architectures, ensuring that both systems engineering and cybersecurity are prioritized throughout the deployment and upgrade lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed security considerations from inception through delivery, aligning DevSecOps with AFNWC & J6 objectives.
