Job summary

Charter Global is seeking a hands-on DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer to lead secure deployment and integration of platform automation across Azure and AWS. The role covers source-control, CI/CD, and cloud configuration, with emphasis on identity and security integration using Entra ID and related services.

You will work to deploy APIs, web apps, and portal components, using Terraform, Python, and React, in a remote-friendly setup with an onsite first week at a client office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps with cloud platform experience across Azure and AWS.
• Experience with identity integration and security (Entra ID, IAM, tokens).
• Proficiency in GitHub-based source-control, CI/CD, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain GitHub-based source-control, branching, code-review, and merge processes.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for PAM APIs and front end, portal components, and cloud config.
• Package application code, infrastructure configuration, build scripts, dependencies, and function layers for deployment.
• Develop Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations.
• Support deployment of Python APIs, React apps, and serverless components (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda).
• Configure separate development, testing, and production deployment workflows.
• Implement automated build, validation, security checks, approvals, and deployment steps.
• Support logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, rollback, and release documentation.
• Coordinate with client teams to deploy code into restricted environments.
