Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain secure cloud infrastructure supporting DoW mission systems.

You will design scalable infrastructure, automate provisioning, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across cloud environments. Responsibilities include implementing IaC, configuring IAM and network controls, and supporting migration from on-prem to cloud/hybrid setups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with hands-on cloud experience.
• Strong experience with Azure or AWS infrastructure services; dual exposure desired.
• Experience with networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPN/private connectivity, load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and sustain cloud infrastructure for mission applications and services.
• Engineer virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and private connectivity.
• Provision and manage cloud compute, storage, databases, and backup/recovery services.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automated provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Configure cloud identity, IAM, service identities, secrets, and privileged access mechanisms.
• Build monitoring, logging, alerting, performance and capacity management capabilities.
• Automate routine administration, patching, configuration enforcement, and compliance checks.
• Support migration of legacy workloads to cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Diagnose infrastructure/network/performance issues and drive resolution.
• Participate in change management, incident response, and disaster recovery exercises.
