Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to embed security across the War Data Platform, translating RMF and STIG requirements into concrete architectural patterns. You will own IAM, network zoning, encryption, and logging strategies, working with cross-functional teams to ensure secure-by-design outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, English proficiency, and the ability to work in a United States federal-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Multiple security certifications are expected: CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP for junior roles; CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, or GICSP for senior roles.
• Levels: Junior: 0-3 years + Bachelor's; Journeyman: 4-7 years + Bachelor's; Senior: 8+ years + Bachelor's.
• Strong communication skills; professional proficiency in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into every layer of the platform through a defense-in-depth architecture.
• Own the IAM framework, network security zoning, data encryption (at-rest and in-transit), and logging/monitoring architecture.
• Collaborate with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to ensure WDP is secure-by-design.
