Job summary

Blackrock Strategy, Inc. in the National Capital Region (NCR) seeks a Back-End / Platform Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and sustain secure application services across unclassified and SIPRNet environments.

You will lead backend development, platform engineering, deployment automation, and system integration to deliver reliable performance. You will work with product, data, and operations teams, translate mission needs into practical technical solutions, and support rapid product iteration

Qualifications

• Experience in back-end software development and platform engineering.
• Experience in secure, restricted environments.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs.
• Architect distributed systems for reliability, performance, security, and interoperability.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for automated deployment.
• Lead deployment across unclassified, SIPRNet, and other secure environments.
• Collaborate with data, product, and ops teams to integrate systems and interfaces.
