Job summary

Reliable Sprinkler Co. is seeking a Section Leader- Maintenance for the 3rd shift in Liberty, SC. The role guides maintenance hourly staff in installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on CNC and assembly equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will supervise, coach, and delegate tasks, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety compliance while promoting continuous improvement in machine performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or related field.
• 5+ years diversified machining and repair experience.
• Experience supervising and coaching maintenance staff.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measurement.
• Familiarity with CNCs, drives and controls; TPM/PLC basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, leadership, direction, coaching, and feedback to maintenance staff.
• Supervise installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC and assembly equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors on machine parts and improvements.
• Schedule, delegate, and direct work for all direct reports.
• Train staff on maintenance best practices.
• Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with PPE and rules.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Description

The Maintenance Section Leader leads, coaches, and assists the assigned maintenance hourly employees regarding the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC and assembly equipment.

How You Will Help:

• Provides supervision, leadership, direction, coaching, and feedback to the assigned maintenance hourly employees
• responsible for supervising the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all CNC and assembly equipment
• Works closely with vendors regarding machine parts and improvements
• Schedules, delegates, and directs work for all direct reports
• Works closely with technicians and mechanics regarding mechanical malfunctions and operating difficulties and suggest necessary repairs to keep machines in production and operating efficiently
• Responsible for training and instructing direct reports regarding maintenance best practice
• Promotes a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practice in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor
• Perform other duties as directed

• Must be able to stand for 60% of the time
• Occasionally will be expected to lift large material not to exceed 50 pounds
