Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Technical Execution Lead and Section Head for the Coyote program. This onsite role leads 10+ engineers in design, build, test, and documentation across the land-based defense systems.

You will drive technical strategy, manage schedules and budgets, mentor staff, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality subsystems while maintaining Raytheon processes and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 10+ years engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Experience with rapid development, mechanical design/release/build/test.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline management for 10+ engineers.
• Direct a multi-disciplined engineering team for system development, integration, and checkout.
• Set goals and monitor accomplishments for the team.
• Ensure centralized Raytheon processes across the section.
• Mentor engineering staff and lead technical guidance and development.
