Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Cape Coral, FL seeks a Section Chief Radiologist to supervise the Radiology Department, manage schedules, and provide expert interpretation of CT, MRI, and Ultrasound exams.

The role includes oversight of contrast administration and ensuring adherence to hospital guidelines. You will lead radiology staff, coordinate with residents and physicians, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining federal employment standards and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S. or DC.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology with VA eligibility requirements.
• Completion of accredited residency program in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Routine Diagnostic CT, MRI, and Ultrasound exams.
• Perform Fluoroscopic exams as required.
• Oversee administration of contrast media per guidelines.
• Supervise Radiology Department and direct reports.
• Assist with radiologist and patient scheduling.
