Belmont Housing Resources for WNY is seeking a Housing Inspector to ensure Section 8 housing meets quality standards, safety, and sanitary requirements for residents in the Buffalo area. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with related experience, or an equivalent mix, plus strong time management, interpersonal, organizational, and computing skills; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time, and organize workflow.
• Interpersonal, listening, organizational, and computing skills.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation required for position.

Responsabilidades

• Housing Inspector: Ensures that housing assisted through the Section 8 Programs is decent, safe, and sanitary, and in compliance with federal housing quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with federal housing quality standards (HQS).
