Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Material Manager to lead material planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy across programs. You will align the master schedule to MRP while coordinating with SCM, engineering, production, finance, quality and program management to resolve issues quickly.

The role supports EVMS, audits, and process improvements, with mentoring to enhance overall operational performance and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in material management, production planning, order management, forecasting and budgeting.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of experience, or no degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and execution.
• Experience with MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and PLM software.
• Experience within the DoD manufacturing space.
• Experience with EVMS or CAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning, forecasting, inventory strategy and supply chain risk management.
• Align master schedule to the MRP and coordinate across SCM, Eng, Production, Finance, Quality and PM.

Job Description

The Sr. Specialist, Material Manager leads material planning, forecasting, inventory strategy, and supply chain risk management for various programs. This person will be working the master schedule aligning to the MRP. They work across Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to ensure materials are available and issues are resolved quickly. The role also supports EVMS, audits, process improvements, and mentoring while helping improve overall operational performance.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ YOE with material management, production planning, order management, financial forecasting and budgeting.
• If Graduate degree they require 4+ years of experience, and if no degree 10+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and execution
• Experience with MRP systems, Microsoft Suites and PLM software's.
• Experience within the DOD manufacturing space.
• Experience with EVMS or CAM
