Position Objective: The Secretary, Special Education, provides support to the department by managing communications, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and coordinating services for students with special needs. The role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies.
Minimum Qualifications: Relevant education in a related field.

Responsibilities: Work under supervision, guide others, and utilize resources to provide effective services.
Working Environment: Involves physical activities like lifting, carrying, and fine motor tasks, with a balanced mix of sitting, walking, and standing in a clean environment.
Required Testing: Job Fit, Grammar, and Technology tests.
Terms of Employment: 186-day work calendar, salary grade S3.
