Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Transport Network Engineer II to support a customer in Illinois. This on-site role requires an active Secret clearance and DoD 8750 IAT II certification. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot transport networks using CIENA, Cisco, and related equipment.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance is required.
BS degree with 2-4 years of related experience or MS with less experience.
DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II or equivalent.
Experience with transport platforms and optical networks.

Responsibilities

Network design and engineering for transport platforms.
Implement new network hardware on operational nodes.
Deploy changes and monitor impacts on traffic.
Perform fault isolation, analysis and troubleshooting across Transport platforms.
Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and customers for root cause analysis.
Maintain accurate ServiceNow documentation and MSS database entries.
