Job summary

JANUS Research Group seeks a Training Support Specialist to analyze training systems and develop reports for training and manpower requirements. The role supports adult education programs at NAS Pensacola, FL and collaborates with SMEs to create materials.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in training system analysis, can lead a multidisciplinary design team, and hold an active Secret clearance. Local candidates preferred for onsite work.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in training system analysis and design, leading a multi-disciplinary team.
• Active/Current, minimum “Secret” Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of Navy training doctrine, manuals and systems for curriculum development.
• Curriculum development and courseware authoring tools and web-based collaboration tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication to produce concise technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Research educational technologies to ensure material is appropriate for audience and context.
• Provide training in structured writing and test writing principles to course writers.
• Coordinate and plan professional development workshops for CSFE mission.
• Conduct performance analyses and training needs assessments to identify gaps.
• Lead design and implementation of training interventions with a multidisciplinary team.
• Create original course and testing material with SME input and publish expository content.
• Provide facilitation support for internal and external clients.
• Maintain training supplies and materials and address system/application issues.
