Job summary

SBTC seeks a Learning Standards Officer Liaison at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, responsible for serving as a subject matter expert in the Naval Special Warfare Training curriculum and assisting in developing and reviewing curriculum, instruction, and training materials.

The role involves designing full-length training courses, validating content with the Government, and coordinating with various teams to ensure effective training delivery and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years’ experience in Curriculum Development with no Degree, or six (6) years' experience in Curriculum Development with a degree from an accredited U.S. college in Education, Engineering, or Instructional Development.
• Five (5) years’ supervisory experience.
• Five (5) years’ collective experience with Naval Instructions: OPNAVINST 5100.19, OPNAVINST 3500.39, OPNAVINST 4790.4, OPNAVINST 5530.13C.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, mediation, and adaptation of course curriculum for SBTC training.
• Assist design and management of complete, full-length training courses or major course units.
• Design SBTC training instructional courses and materials including training aids and plans.
• Study technical material with Government to validate SBTC training scope and content.
• Develop data collection instruments (interviews, questionnaires, evaluations) for training.
• Provide background layout for audiovisual materials and explore computer-based delivery and distance modules.
