Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years’ leadership and instructor experience in formal training with no degree, or four years with Education/Instructional Development degree/certificate.
• Four years’ Navy NEC 805A Instructor experience or equivalent in another service.
• US Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification or another agency equivalent.
• Six years’ experience in course curriculum management.
• Five years’ experience in oral communication principles, methods and techniques.
• Shall be fluent in English; ability to speak Spanish and/or French is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, instructional support, and training analysis for SBTC operations.
• Develop, revise, and maintain courses of instruction and examinations; manage course materials.
• Coordinate schedules for training to support Field Training Exercises (FTX).
• Provide instruction on range safety and naval procedures per specified instructions.
• Collaborate with Government Representative, TO, LSO, and other stakeholders to develop new curricula.
